Bakalářská práce se zabývala problematikou jedinců se zdravotním postižením. Jejím cílem bylo analyzovat postoje společnosti k jedincům s různým zdravotním handicapem.
Práci tvořily dvě stěžejní oblasti. Jednalo se o část teoretickou objasňující faktory, které ovlivňují přístup společnosti k osobám s různým zdravotním postižením. Seznamovala se s vývojem postojů společnosti k těmto lidem v průběhu historie, vývojem péče o tyto osoby, se současným stavem poskytovaných služeb v rámci státního i neziskového sektoru a s právními úpravami, které by měly zabezpečit práva lidem s handicapem.
Cílem praktické části bylo prostřednictvím dotazníkové metody na vybraném vzorku, analyzovat postoje společnosti k jedincům s jednotlivým zdravotním postižením. Oblast dotazů byla směřována na názory respondentů na míru závažnosti jednotlivých zdravotních postižení a tomu odpovídající péči. Dále na oblast vztahu k jedincům s postižením a oblast pocitů, které u dotazovaných lidé s postižením vyvolávají.

My bachelor paper deals with the phenomenon of disabled people. Its aim is to analyse the attitude of our society towards people suffering from different kinds of handicaps.
The paper consists of two main parts, a theoretical and a practical one. As for the theoretical part it clarifies and explains the factors, which influence general approach of our society to disabled people and its development throughout the history, as well as the progress in taking care about disabled patients. The paper also informs about contemporary situation in medical and social service, provided to such people in the field of state, and non-profiting sector and legal modifications that are supposed to guarantee them their privileges.
The goal of the practical part was to examine the attitudes of our society towards handicapped people. For the research I used the method of questionnaires. The questions were generally focused on getting information about respondents’ opinions about the level of seriousness of certain disability and the standard of the care that is provided to handicapped people. It also dealt with the relationship people have with their disabled co-citizens and the feelings the handicapped evoke in them.

Research Plan
cílem práce je analýza postojů společnosti k jedincům s různým zdravotním postižení. Ke zjišťování těchto postojů bude použit nestandardizovaný dotazník. Pro zajištění objektivnosti musí být zachovány stejné podmínky při zadávání, zachování anonimity, stejný postup při vyhodnocování, zastoupení můžů i žen různých věkových kategorií, vzdělání a povolání.
